Fall 2010

The Furies practice twice a week in preparation for our games on weekends. As with any sport, practice is essential to a team's success on the field. And in rugby, practice is especially important, since the sport is new to most Americans. New skills, strategies, and drills are covered in each practice, which means that regular attendance is vital. Now, we certainly understand that players have jobs, families, and other obligations that make missing some practices unavoidable. However, attendance is still noted, and taken into account during team selection for games. So come as regularly and often as possible.

Unlike many sports, we will practice EVEN WHEN IT'S RAINING.
